What is a roster Designee? -A Designee is an ALTA member assigned by a team leader to take on a leadership role for a team. -Designees can enter scorecards, see a team's tracking sheet, use the lineup checker, add eligible players to the team and have access to opposing captain contact information. -Designees can be added and removed as needed.
Let us review the existing rules that are in place from ALTA: A previously played (win or lose) pairing can only go up OR down 1 line together — ie: line 2 to 3. Regardless of previously winning or losing, a single player in a NEW pairing can only go up OR down 2 lines — ie: line 1 to line 3.
ALTA’s rating system, if you could call it one, uses its own historical team-based data to place teams at different levels. In Jr. Team Tennis, the set score will be tied at 3-3. • To counter the advantage of serving, the player who starts serving will only serve one point.
